"Great food with large portions, this place offers a home town feel where everyone knows everyone. I would describe the good as low sodium, but I encourage you to try for your self!"

- Nathaniel H.

"The food is all homemade and is so good. I asked my husband to bring me back for date night. We live 2 hours away. The beer is ICE cold and I mean ICE COLD! I had to make myself stop eating the delicious roasted corn so I could eat the Peach Cobbler. Good lawd yall!!! Great food!"

"Stepping into the Davy Crockett Grill, we knew we were deep in the heart of Texas. Country and western music played overhead, a rodeo was on the TV, and the atmosphere was pure Lone Star pride. The walls told a story--vintage Dr Pepper and Coca-Cola signs, a Trump bumper sticker, and a well-worn Davy Crockett rifle on display. Two mounted deer heads and racks of antlers added to the rustic charm. Right near the entrance, the Pledge of Allegiance was proudly displayed, reminding us we were in a place that values tradition. We kicked things off with a basket of fresh, spicy pork skins straight from the fryer--hot, crispy, and packed with flavor. Sharon had catfish and onion rings, while I dug into what might be the best taco salad I've ever eaten. The fajita chicken was grilled to perfection--savory, tender, and full of smoky goodness. Paired with cheese, tomatoes, and avocado (I asked them to hold the onions), it was huge, delicious, and satisfying. The service was fast, the waitresses were friendly, and the decor made us feel right at home. With its mix of history, Texas pride, and a laid-back, welcoming vibe, this place is a gem. If we're ever in these parts at lunchtime again, we'll be back!"

"Friendly staff and some great food . We came in the middle of dinner rush so it was super busy but waitress still got our drinks and order as fast as she could. Food took a little while but worth the wait. I had a great ribeye steak at a pretty good price, sons had hamburger steak and hamburger staek sandwiches which were large portions which is helpful for 15 & 16 year olds .... daughter and wife just had burgers but they said they were tasty and of course the boys are whet they couldn't finish. It was a really good family meal tofinish up our lil weekend trip heading home from the Renaissance festival."

- Jessie G.

"This was a pleasant experience with good food. They provide tasty pork rinds right away with your drinks. We also ordered fried pickles that were some of the best I've had in recent years. My burger was seasoned well and the veggies were fresh. My son's pizza looked good, and my wife's catfish was crispy and delicious. Prices were reasonable and service was exceptional. It's one of the best restaurants in Crockett!"

- Jeff W.

"We came through Crockett to grab a bite to eat, and stopping here was a great surprise. The food was OMG so good, fresh, you can tell it's homemade. Our waitress was Christina she was awesome, very down to earth and easy to talk to. She went above & beyond to make sure we had a great dinner. We are celebrating our 19 year Anniversary so dinner here was nice."

- Michell M.

"All I can say is "Wow!" We're passing through from Kansas City, MO. We stopped in for the ribeye steak. It was much needed after 11 hours on the road. This place was busy, but the staff kept up like it was a slow day! We sat at the bar so we could catch some Thursday night football. The bartender, Ashley, was awesome! She handled a rude customer with authority and continued to keep up her super-sonic pace with all of the orders coming in non-stop. I really mean they were NON-STOP. I can't say enough good things about this place. I would highly recommend it for travelers and locals. Like I said, the bartender was awesome; full of excitement, moved at a fast pace, handled the customers the right way, and struck up friendly conversations by asking about our trio and other things. If you eat here, sit at the bar and let Ashley be your server/bartender."
